OUR SERVICES
At the lodge, we offer accommodation in the cabins or at our private campground. To save yourself extra weight in your back-pack, you can book your meals and drinks with us too, just read on.
ACCOMMODATION
You can chose between staying in the lodge cabins for a more or our private campground on the river. We are sorry, but pets are not allowed at the lodge property.
LODGE CABINS
The lodge provides inexpensive and comfortable accommodation for up to 28 people, comprising of two cabins. One sleeps 12 people and the other 16 people.
The cabins are fully equipped with sturdy wooden bunk beds, warm woollen bedding (incl. bed sheets) and are heated by slow combustion fires for a comfortable night’s sleep.

- Adults: $40 pp / night
- Kids (up to 18 years) / Students / Pensioners: $35 pp / night
You can book the smaller cabin (12 beds) for $400 / night and the bigger cabin (16 beds) for $500 / night - please contact us.
PRIVATE CAMPGROUND
You can pitch a tent at our private campground located on the Coxs River, 150 metres from the lodge. It is a size of roughly two tennis courts and has a large campfire with a sitting area and wood supplied from the lodge. This option allows you to use the lodge facilities, such as kitchen and bathroom.
Please note there is no car access to the campground and you will have to carry your camping gear from the lodge where you park your car.
The numerous deep and shallow river holes are safe and pleasant for a dip after a long walk.

FACILITIES
The galley kitchen is fully equipped with cookware, utensils, glassware and cutlery. Cooking facilities include a gas cook-top, gas BBQ and pizza oven. A small fridge is available for private use only, so please bring food which does not need to be refrigerated or your own esky if you are coming by a car.

Bathrooms and basic camping showers are available. Please bring your own towel, as well as a headlamp to wear around the lodge at night. We are totally off grid and power from solar panels is limited.
Large campfire has a sitting area and wood supplied.

FOOD & DRINKS
We can arrange your main meals, catering for any dietary requirements (vegetarian, vegan, gluten-free, diary free etc.). Please book your meals and specify any special requirements in the comments section of the online booking form. Note that we don‘t require upfront payment for the meals and we will balance that during check out.
Typical lodge menu consists of:
- Dinner ($20) - meat / vegetarian stew cooked over the camp fire for 6 hours and served with mashed potatoes, and rice.
- Breakfast ($15) – special lodge scrambled eggs with sourdough bread, incl. tea and real coffee
- Take-away lunch ($15) – two wraps, nut bar & fruit
- Hot and cold drinks are also available ($2.50 - $5.00)

TRANSPORT
- Katoomba/Jenolan Caves to the Lodge (and vice versa):
$150 minimum cost / $50 per person (car capacity is max. 10 people) - this needs to be organised with us in advance.
